Helmut Lang Paris flagship closing in March

Helmut Lang fans flocked to the designer’s store on the rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré in an attempt to purchase what they thought would be the last of the designer’s clean designs and stark clothes. Think again. The flagship store, which was to close by the end of last October, is still open for business—but in a slightly more condensed way. The second floor, which used to house the full men’s line of clothing and accessories, has been moved downstairs, where it now occupies half of the women’s floor. The latest news is that the store is likely to shutter officially by the end of March.

The local Helmut Lang store here just disappeared without a trace too, I was also wondering what was going on!

Not to mention that my sister encountered a horrible SA who upset her to tears when she recently bought a dress there. (She actually removed the tag, hid it away, and lied about the price.) My poor sister ended up returning the dress because she didn't want to always have to associate the beautiful dress--which she bought for a special occasion-- with the lousy experience. God, I was so angry to hear that. I figured something was wrong for a boutique of that reputation to be employing such people. Sure enough...

No! wait, wait, it was even worse...this happened when my sister had actually *asked* to see the tag, the SA pretended not to hear and hastily removed it.
