I know many of you live in or around Europe. I need help!! I am planning a trip for my friend's daughter. So far this is where we are going:

Barcelona
Madrid
Paris

I want to go to one more place and here is what I was thinking

Brussels
London
Zurich
Berlin

We only have two weeks. I would like to spend as much time in each place as possible (three to four days). What are your thoughts on these locations? Which ones aren't worth visiting for a first timer?

Thanks!!

I would do Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, London - it would make a fairly straightforward commute (after Paris that is).

I'd say drop Zurich and do London or Berlin or brussels----depending on what your interest are. amsterdam is also great. My favourite is Berlin though, it's teh place to be :D haha
but yes, fausts suggestion is also good, very practical travel plan at least, pretty much a strait line upwards europe...
you can also go directly from paris or brussels to london with the eurostar which is quick and not too expensive.
brussels is also great, I love that city!
oh there's too many good places....

and you don't wanna come to Italy????????? nooooooo!!!!

Hmmm you don't need to do 2 Belgian cities if you only have 2 weeks in Europe, and I would suggest choosing Antwerp over Brussels.

I love London and Berlin the best out of your other options. You can get Eurostar to London out of Brussels (pausing in Brussels only to see the Mannekin Piss:lol: ),or you could get the train or a cheap flight from antwerp to Berlin.

I would suggest doing Berlin, and making this a continental European smorgasbord:)

Be careful of trying to see too much and ending up only ticking off nights in hotel rooms.
Have fun!!!

Oh another thing....Contiki,an Australian youth travel company, does tours for 18-35's in Western Europe, sometimes covering huge distances ina short space of time.Maybe you can check out some of their itineraries just to see what is possible in a short space of time.I don't know if www.contiki.com still exisits, but the company certainly does:)

Oh no, I love Italy, but we've already been. We are trying to make the most of where we haven't been!

That's great! If you need to know where to go, just send me a message. For how long?

My boyfriend is from Austin so we are going there for Christmas...(meet his parents and all that:unsure: )
I would be extremly grateful for any shopping tips!

Ok, so I think so far I've chosen: Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin.

Thank you so much for your input!

Now, what do you all recommend as far as recreation in these cities? I'll be going in March. Any bands playing or anything? Bars? Shopping?
