I think Amy is a great choice! She was pretty good playing a tough character in "The Fighter", and as far as age goes - well, Lois is supposed to be an established, award winning reporter, and a lot more experienced than Clark, so I think it works just fine.

Amy looks young for her age and Henry is grown up and manly for his, I think it's a great fit. I too thought Abbie Cornish was going to get it, but who knows there may be another female role in there.
Word is that Immortals will make an appearance at Wondercon this week. Fingers crossed.

Exactly. Lois is supposed to be a seasoned journalist and Clark's superior so it would even be okay if she was older than Clark. I think they'll make Clark a little bit older than Henry's 27 and make Lois younger than Amy so they'll probably met around the middle.

Amy totally came out of no where for me, but I was immediately thrilled. Aside from Rachel McAdams, I think anyone else besides Amy would have disappointed me. (So glad those rumours about Olive Wilde, Biels etc. didn't happen after all.)

I remember in the first season of the Tudors,Henry's character,Charles Brandon,marries king Henry's sister and she was played by Gabrielle Anwar who's alot older than Cavill.And i think they both looked good together,so he and Amy will look fine

My Superman mythology isn't great so I don't know, I suppose it depends on whether they want them to be older than Clark. It's all speculation on my part of course and maybe I'm reading into it, but I do think Luke would make a great addition. He is in Immortals with Henry though so maybe it's nothing!

Yep I'd grin like an idiot if I were that close to Henry too.
Normally at work we hear about all these castings, even when our clients aren't involved, but Superman has been surprisingly quiet on all fronts, so whatever Snyder's up to I'd say he's pretty set on it and always has been

^They are being VERY secretive on it. I guess it's a combination of WB/Nolan/Snyder - esp. Nolan who is just as secretive with Batman. I did see a recent interview with Snyder and he basically confirmed that the villain had been (almost) cast - so, just waiting on an announcement on that one really.

Can't wait for Henry at WonderCon. Hope there will be a bunch of interviews like with Snyder this whole week.
