yeah, the most of the members here are really young and they probably even don't know who he is, that's how fashion is besides he was not a full time fashion photographer like Meisel, he was a portraitist of celebrities, director of commercials & videos but also did a lot of fashion.




I'm really young and Herb is my favorite photographer.I also don't know the reason he has only 2 pages.

such a great photographer. Really sad he passed away so early in his life.

Such a legendary photographer. Love how he also directed music videos, that's how he was like the first photographer I was ever aware of.

His work in the 90s for Vogue Paris and US was amazing. However my favourite ed of his was the 'L'Idoles' from Vogue Paris 1999 with Alek and Angela. That was divine

His work really characterizes what I think of when I think of great 90s photography. It was such a loss that he died young.
