High-heeled Laceup Shoes F/W 07.08

mm, at first i didn't like the sound of 'em, but then i really really like the dries van noten ones!

I love all of them, except the red chloe ones.

This might sound a bit silly, but arent we all going to end up with wet and very cold big toes when winter comes?!

biggest footwear trend for fall without a doubt...
falls into the 'menswear influence' that has been cited as a major fall trend...

good trendspotting folks...:p

Ha!! I went to look around today and couldn't see a pair :(!!

Probably because it's summer & these are more of a covered-up, fall shoe :flower:

So far the Marc Jacobs are my favorite ... I've seen the blue/grey, solid camel, tan/brown/beige (attached), and browns/metallic ... anyone seen other colors? I'm hoping they'll be made in grey/black ...

^those are def the most beautiful ones posted =)
thanks

Oh my gosh, those MJ ones are BEAUTIFUL... I would love a black pair of those. Do they sell any of the MJ ones online? I haven't seen it in stores here.

before i saw them on the runway this season, i bought a pair of vintage black and tan chanel lace up heels at Decades...so i'm really glad to see this becoming a trend.

i can't help but think that whoever sold those shoes to the consignment shop must be kicking herself right now though >_<

Last high-heeled laced shoes I can recall were those Mukluks. These shoes appear to be pretty classy. If I were a lady, I probably wouldn't go with these. I'd likely wear some strappy sandals or dressy pumps. I don't hate this style, but I probably wouldn't wear these on personal preference if I were a lady. The more common high-heeled lace-ups are usually knee-high boots with high heels and those eyes for lacing up. I do have a liking for those high-heeled wedges. I guess you could say that I kind of like chunky shoes much like I like seeing ladies in flares and bells.

omg i LOVE this trend! some time ago river island had a pair and i was DYING to buy it, but it was wayy over my budget & i didnt' hear about the sale until it was over. grrrrr i was so mad

how do you guys feel about the brown leather ones? i almost feel like they're kind of last season...

also, does anybody know where i can find a black patent leather pair for under $200? im dyyyingg for some!!

I adore these shoes!!! I'm craving for a simple black pair that I've seen on some H&M jeans poster (I don't think the shoes are from H&M though...) :woot:

oh and I love the black MJ's posted above!

i love the philip lim slingback version, the balenciagas, and the marc by marc jacobs version (which somehow remind me of past balenciaga shoes, closeups are on marcjacobs.com)

those burberry ones are sweet. I can't believe I am saying that.

I like them better in the interesting materials like prints and patents. But otherwise, I still may need some convincing. Plus, I don't really like the wedge versions all that much.

I don't think I would ever wear them, but I kinda like the ysl ones....they're growing on me. Perhaps I just need to see my feet in a pair.

i have these....courtesy of flylondon.com

it looks like the end of the toes are humongous like clown shoes. but they arent. im just trying to figure out what to wear with these right now. i usually wear my wide leg jeans or minidress with stockings. nothing else so far...any ideas?
