High heels

Care to elaborate?

Once you learn how to walk properly in them or become comfortable wearing them, as a petite 5'4" woman, I would have to say yes. I don't know how I willingly wore flats all those years. Now, I feel so frumpy in them.

In so many ways, yes. Besides the addictive rush of buying a new pair of heels, you can also grow a dependency on the extra height they give you. I've gotten many a comments from people who see me in flats or bare feet...walking around on the balls of my feet. :D

Well, it turns out that gambling is a truly addictive pursuit, because it's an activity that causes the release into the brain of dopamine (a major endorphin). So why not heels? In fact, the "gambler's high" is a maximum when they EXPECT to win (not at the actual win), hence the rush at finding the shoes you want, trying them on, etc.

High heels are definitely a habit.
I still have a lot to go before I can walk comfortably on my 4-inch ones for more than an hour.

Even as a man yes they are very habit forming. I cant wait until the next chance to wear heels, bit of luck this afternoon whilst cooking a barbie. Do you find its harder standing arounnd still in 4 1/2" heels than walking in them?
