I buy shoes all the time....but I only allow myself to have around 100 pairs of shoes.....I am always getting rid of the ones I "disqualify" for some reason. I like boots a lot.

I just counted the other day & I have under 30, including my gardening clogs, Merrells for walking the dogs, and all my "real" shoes--I was impressed

I'm impressed too! Getting more done with less takes creativity.

As for me I have about 70 pair which I think is too many. I'm in the process of simplifying and defining my personal style so that I'm not so "fashion schizophrenic." Footwear however is my vice so I find that if I limit myself to about five new pair of shoes/boots per year I'm doing well.

I tend to weed out shoes when I look at them and say to myself "what were you thinking!"

I refuse to count (I don't think I'll like the answer) but it has to be around 35-40. I did buy quite a few Doc Martens when they were still made in the UK, and I seem to be into sneakers as of late even though I have detested them in the past. I won't even mention the motorcycle boots.

I have TWELVE pairs of shoes!!
flip flops:
2 pairs of havaianas
1 pair of reef
leather sneakers (which i wear everyday)
1 pair of dior sneakers
1 pair of hogans
1 pair of gola
dressier:
2 pairs of ferragamo booties
1 pair of Hugo Boss suede loafers
1 pair of black loafers
for sport:
2 pairs of puma and 1 of nike

but i really only use the first three in the summer, and the second three (maybe the boots too) for winter... i guess i pretty much survive with 6 pairs the whole year! i wouldnt know what to do with 30, 40, or 100!!

^She really is not kidding. I have seen her bedroom. She gets like more than 2 pairs a week. That is the absolute minimum. They are all over the place lol!!!
