I don't know where to post. I am sorry, please remove if this is not the right place:-)

So I have to dry clean my T. But no dryclean service here wanted to take it. Instead one asked "why do you wash it?", the other one said I should hand-wash myself and nothing should happen.

They also said this kind of cotton absorbs all the dirt, and the T will become colour-undefined:-).

It is a white Shirt T, with a piece of blue "denim" cloth on, and there is a black print on the denim. I don't want the print to soak all over the T, worried about the denim cloth, too. The label says dry clean.

What do you advice:-)?

Hand wash it inside out in lukewarm water with mild detergent, no bleach.
That should work.

I really wonder about these DIY dry cleaning kits... Do they really work? I guess they should, they're obviously being sold. Has anyone tried this or any other brand?

I love Dryel. It's great to come home from a smoky bar and be able to just toss my "dry clean only" clothes in the dryer. :flower:

I love Dryel too. You'll still have to send your clothes to the dry cleaner eventually ;)

nqth, I'd go with Dryel or if you really need to clean out your t-shirt I would handwash it in cold water...

Many thanks guys:-) I'll wash it in water and report:-) I 've also been adviced not to hang the clothe so that the possible print won't soak down when drying.

I don't think I could buy Dryel here in Poland, the idea sounds lovely tho :-)

I'm fortunate enough to have a washing machine with a handwash cycle and a dryer with an air dry setting, so it just blows cool air onto the garment(s). It's sooooooo nice. So if you ever get a new washer and dryer, look for those features.

your drycleaner asked you why you wash your t-shirts??
or did i get that wrong?

^^Alex, that's true too. But my dry cleaner asks me if I want certain items dry cleaned or laundered.

Yes:-) I was kind of "I wore it". But I thought she might have asked why I wanted to dry clean it.
