...
I guess the title says it all ...

I know in houses like Chanel etc. some people are in charge of the archives (press, outfits etc.), but I have no idea if those people work for Chanel or are specific people from museums who also work with Chanel ...

Anyone ? Any idea ?
Any informations ?

I can't find anything about this onto the google ...

by archives do you mean design archives? textile, print etc., seasonal collection archives..

^yes that's what i mean ...

i'm sure someone takes care of all these stuff ...
someone with a history of art and/or history of fashion education ...

thefrenchy : thanks for the "fiche". i know about it - the archives studies are among the hardest studies in france (well talking about the Ecole des Chartes - the real archivist school ! it's really hard-work !) ... but those are very documents, books etc. oriented !

^^ Why don't you contact the YSL Foundation? They actually give appointments to access the archives and you could ask questions there to start.

^I've decided to write to some Houses, indeed ...
like Chanel (whose email response was "sorry we cannot communicate names informations, all i can say is write to Human Ressources to apply for a job" ... thank you but that was not my question ...), YSL and Dior.

Not to work right now, but get informations ...
