This is vile, to have Bjork and Arca and to create this mediocrity? A studio shoot that lacks any creativity, gloss, or at least Mert & Marcus photoshop treatment to pop?

Considering all the excuses, not acceptable (yeah, Meisel and Zara slayed despite all the quarantine mumbles).

And even worse is that we have something to compare. Remember that shoot in a flooded room with Bjork by M&M in 2000? Yeah.

thats all so freaking bad. i know what we exist in a time of limited opportunities, but 40 years anniversary and that's all this magazine have to say? absolutely insipid covers with same level of subjects and stories behind them, the only decent thing is Willy/Rizzo cover but to be honest, aside from this tribute idea, this is absolutely pedestrian shooting, same feeling about this story i had in 2001 when it was released and they've chosen it like a favourite cover to reproduce among all the works they've done for I-d covers, i guess because it was the simplest option among all. Willy and Olivier didnt make any legendary content for I-D, they did for Prada, for loads of other magazines but not for this publication, I-d team could reproduce any other cover, with Naomi or with Cristy Turlington by Juergen Teller from 90s, there were plenty of iconic covers back in 90s
