If you could buy just one piece for Fall 2009

Let's say you can buy just one piece for fall, and the sky is not the limit, you have a budget. You can specify what it is ... I think mine's going to be $250. What would that one piece be?

I wish Chanel gloves were under $250. Or Givenchy gloves. Or Julius gloves!! Or Hermes gloves! Or Tom Ford, damn damn damn them..

I seen an amazing tweedy grey short winter coat in Max Mara in Venice last week! It was one of those coats where I was just like WOW... it was so different... been trying to find it on the web but just cant seem to find there stuff on line... and they dont seem to have a web site! It was lovely though and about your budget...435 Euros...

As for me if I had to say one item then this season it would be a pair of black riding style boots... or something with a fur lining... but smart so not uggs...

Budget would be about £300... or like someone has mentioned those chanel fur lined gloves are amazing this season.

The idea of a new watch band occurred to me, but the one I like doesn't come in the width I need. I may be able to get it at a trunk show ...

PS I got a MaxMara skirt recently, and quite like it. They've been known for their coats for decades ... Isabella Rosellini talks about how her mother would always buy them MaxMara coats--but not every year! Only when they outgrew them.

If it's €435 in Italy, then it's at least €600 in Denmark But MaxMara Weekend or SportMax is something I could look into, because MaxMara really is famous for outerwear and I love coats
