Impulse Buyers!!!!!

I occasionally impulse-buy stuff, but is is fairly rare and always cheap.

Usually it is stuff like new hairclips, inexpensive nailpolish, or fabric if it is on sale for a low enough price, though cat-toys fall into my occasional-impulse-purchase budget. I can't be the only one having all the fun :)

Recently I bought two packets of the smallest size of Scunci foam rollers (for curling my hair) and they are the best curlers I have ever, ever used. The curls look totally natural, and after all day of doing my usual stuff and all night of sleeping on them, they still look good.

OMG....one of my worst episode of "impulsis" happened! I was only suppose to be in a new year party trip to london and god....everywhere is on sale!!!! specially selfridges....I just can't help myself to buy clothes there coz they are really really cheap...imagine...50% off plus 20% more new year's weekend! They area friggin steal!!! everythin is so cool. Don;t get me started there ...i went to harvey nicks and noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! everything was so cheap so kerching again!!! just cant help it!!!! lol!...in addition..the staffs are so nice to me and are always smiling when i look at them so can't help not to buy at all!!!! it's probably one of the number one thing that makes me buy stuffs...friendly staffs!

I tend to do a lot of impulse buying and I blame it on location. Working in midtown, a 5-10 minutes walk away from the best dept. stores and boutiques and living in Manhattan really don't help things. Sometimes if work is slow and I am bored, I will just pop into Saks around 11am or so and just browse......
That's one of the reasons I shop at places with good return policies.....I can take my impulse purchase home and think about it for 2-3 days and see how it works with what else is in my closet....if after 3 days I am not obsessing/dreaming about it....back to the store it goes.....

i always have this problem - when i have money i can't seemed to find anything i like but when i am broke, there it is - many nice bags and clothes seemed to appear all at once... it is so annoying!!! hahahah i have fetish for bags.... u can never get enough of bags or clothes.

I've been dying to go shopping today  it's like, I have money in my pocket, and my fingers start itching

same here ! I buy everything I can see as long as I have enough money with me :ninja:

Gosh, I used to be sooooo bad with impulse buying. Now, if I don't have the cash I don't spend:(

lol. i try to control myself as much as possible so i just stay away from central london to get away from all of the temptations!:D

I used to go cold turkey and leave my credit cards at home, but that doesn't help with online shopping because I managed to memorize my card numbers!!

I think it all boils down to discpline, discpline, discpline and oh yes, what's popular for the season. If it's something that I like, it going to be "uh-oh....." :ninja:

Impulse Buys

Everyone has them. Let's see (or hear about them).

While this wasn't any time recently. I bought this lei (along with the shorts, but I don't regret those). Talk about an impulse buy. I actually wore it 2x. Now I have it hanging off my bed post because it kind of matches my room.

gosh don't remind me...

bought a pricey MaxMara top last year - saw it on the dummy and thought- that's mine... still haven't worn it. still have nothing to wear it to...

bought a $200 top for my friend's b-day pressie because i hate shopping (the process) but when i see what i like i buy it ...and couldn't be bothered looking around for cheaper alternatives.... lazy shopping and impulse shopping mean the same thing for me: bye bye money:cry:

I find myself in these type of shopping situations constantly and most of the time end up regretting it. I usually fool myself into purchasing something since (1) I loved the look of it on the runway/magazine/etc., (2) have been looking for something exactly like it, or (3) it's so cheap. Then I realize it doesn't even fit me properly or that I rather like it if it were some trivial thing I find important.
Sometimes I find myself sort of depressed or angry and just go on those shopping sprees... but lately I've learned to ask myself the necessary questions for a long lasting purchase I won't regret. Though I don't think anyone can help themselves from an "impuse buy" every once and while... :flower:

I've recently started impulse purchasing a lot more often...I just can't seem to resist the perfect pair of flats on sale or a cute top that fits amazingly. I went through the money I got for Christmas within a few days of shopping! I'm trying to start exercising more control, though...

RIGHT HERE RIGHT HERE!!!! sometimes i will buy to make the salesperson happy, no kidding!

A couple times I've bought WAY more makeup than intended but as far as clothes, it's almost always impulse because I have ideas of what I want but when I'm shopping at lower-end stores, I never know exactly what they have.

I used to be a terrible impulse buyer. Now I tend to delay my purchases, and I never regret doing so. 90% of the time I decide I don't really need the item.

Today I bought a pair of Marc Jacobs-esque aviators that are cute but I didn't really need them.... and they look cuter on my boyfriend.

I used to impulse buy a lot but not really recently... I haven't regreted a purchase in a while :)
