New Quentin Tarantino's work.

In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.

Personally, I find this film a masterpiece.
Plus when it comes to fashion, Shosanna's red dress at the movie premiere was absolutely fantastic.

Saw this yesterday and loved it! The actress who plays Shosanna was amazing in this too...her clothes were so cool

Christoph Waltz and the strudel scene :innocent:. I really hope he gets an Academy nomination.

hands down best scene of the movie! Waltz did an amazing job. I was also very impressed with Melanie Laurent

Loved about 80% of the men in this film... so many foxes!

Christoph Waltz did an amazing job. I would not be surprised if he walks away with a statue come awards season... if not, he already has the best actor award from Cannes, so he can't really lose either way...

Melanie laurent was amazing as Shoshanna... such an inspired, heroic performance. I can't wait to see her grow as an actress. I was really impressed with Diane Kruger too...

I LOVED Diane Kruger in this...she's a great actress when she speaks German, she's oddly more compelling to watch. And I just love the name Bridget van Hammersmark! LOL So amazing.

I loved this movie, I had no idea what it was about. I didn´t read or watch anything before going to the cinema, QT was guarantee of quality and great performances... he never dissapoints. I specially loved all the german speaking scenes :)
About actors´ performances I agree with all of you but I´d like to add Michael Fassbender´s in the mix.

Great movie and great acting form Christoph Waltz and Diane Kruger. I found Brad Pitt a bit off for some reason, but is worked anyway.

It's a biiiingo! That's how you say it right? :D

So, are we in for an Inglourious Basterds prequel? Apparently not yet — even though Tarantino says he has 40 pages of it written. He’s not giving up on the idea or the script, especially if the original film does well at the awards shows. But he’s got another project, which he’s keeping under wraps, coming first. It’s going to be “smaller, less epic” in scale than Basterds, and in a “different genre entirely.” He says he thinks he can finish it in a five- to six-month period of intensive writing.

Oh no no, wouldn't that just ruin the first part?
Although knowing Tarantino and Kill Bill, we know he can make a strong second movie...

Yeah that's what I thought too. Kill Bill 2 was a decent sequel, so I have faith in Tarantino.
More Christopher Waltz and Melanie Laurent please! :D

The article says a "prequel" so probably Melanie Laurent wont be in it... the movie could be about the basterds before they become members of the squad or Landa´s life... something like that could be cool imo :)

I'd rather see Tarantino continue to do more original work.

i was never a big fan of tarantino but im starting to like a lot of his movies.. especially this one and christoph waltz was amazing. i thought all the actors did a good job except brad pitt.. i dont think he's that good of an actor, the others were in a different league.

i watched this on saturday and it was great, funny , witty but also with serious moments. i recommend it:)
