straight out of Berghain..:lol:, looking too clean for that!

love Klara though .. also Nina and Estella. All great choices.

Nina! :bounce:

Loving all three covers though, each one is alluring in its own way.

Since the thread title has been changed, the cover models/celebs are Nina Hagen, Estella Boersma and Klara Kristin. :)

need to brush up my german and pick the nina hagen cover + read the pilati feature (as per his interview w/ system he lives in berlin and moved the zegna creative team there, and now i wanna know what he's doing)

Call me biased, but I like Klara's cover only because, well, it's Klara. after Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein, things are looking up for her. Not to the same extent as it did for Léa, but altogether promising.

Something tells me Nina's cover will outperform the other two......

Well me too , but she also has a good look and 'little to lose' vibe to her that she just looks cool in the little she's done (fashion-wise). I only like her because of Love, I thought she was superb for someone that had never done any acting before (I even hated her character, she played so well that kind of girl lol).

btw can someone access the interview? and share!

there's more covers:

Veruschka, Wolfgang Tillmans, Mikka Nielsen, Honey Dijon

Goodness, this just got better!! I'm going to have to hunt Veruschka and Tillmans' covers down. Veruschka may look like a fairy tale witch, but I like that she was brave enough to greenlight this idea. Sidenote: Apparently Grace Mirabella (the Wintour of her heyday, lol) told Veruschka to cut her hair in order to appeal to the everyday woman. Veruschka refused, and subsequently retired from the industry as a result. For that reason alone, I like her.

Tillmans' cover is one of those classic images which will never age. I'm not too chuffed that he dabbled with posters for the referendum though. Art and politics make such ill-fitting bedfellows to begin with. Imo there's something vulgar and off-putting when art is being used as a tool for political aims. But I imagine he'll not be the last one. Anywhoo, love those shorts and he's giving me a run for my money with those calves!

Not interested to read yet another puff piece about DJ chick, but her shot looks good. Almost iconic.

Thanks for posting these, Mistress!! ;)

by the way there's hardly any editorial inside. there's a nice portraits portfolio by Huseby though, i might post that if anyone's interested

What are you saying! there should always be at least a tiny drop of political/social commentary in art, there's nothing more vulgar than the self-absorbed artist that only creates for the sake of escapism or narcissism and views taking any responsibility as a social player as if it was optional or another topic ("politics"), or as if his art and himself was beyond that, especially when some degree of success is involved.. now that's just off-putting, and vile.

I don't know much about the referendum but he's doing great things in regards to the refugee crisis, while most people in his field just look away.

Anyway, I don't think I'm that childish "she aged! so sad!" type of person but I thought Veruschka was an old man.. that stare though... And btw I just spent 5 minutes trying to say her full name.. makes me feel like my German is advanced level now. Vera Gottliebe Anna Gräfin von Lehndorff-Steinort.. :brows::lol:

mistress_f, *raises hand*.. also the interviews of cover stars.. maybe?

I can't stop staring at that cover with Veruschka. Fascinating.

here's the main 'ed'

Not all cover-stars have features inside. Here's Nina Hagen's, i'll post Klara Kristin and Estella Boermsa's, a jewellery ed, right away

all from interview germany digital edition

Klara Kristin

Estella Boersma

everything shot by Benjamin Huseby, all from interview germany digital edition

Mistress_F.....:flower::kiss:, thanks for all the uploads!! As expected, Klara's shots are really the strongest here. Absolutely smitten with the last two. Had to curb myself to read only her intro, the rest will have to wait until I get my own issue.
