Wow, absolutely not.

Though I suppose I should acknowledge the effort to go in a different direction with her, it’s just not working for me on any level. She looks juvenile, the outfit is hideous, the angle looks weird (her thigh?) and the lighting washes her out. Roach normally serves well on the red carpet (though I wish she wouldn’t work with him on magazine cover shoots), but he really really did her dirty here. Hard pass.

This magazine seems to draw some kind of perverse pleasure from destroying everything that is good in this world. They can't see beauty and just bear witness to it. No. They have to smear it, cheapen it, render it ugly. I think they mistake being vulgar for being cool.

Inexplicably there's an interview/photo shoot with poet and classicist Anne Carson.

While I'm interested in hardly any of it, the magazine consistently packs in a lot of content, especially compared to other US mags

I agree with you, I enjoy Interview too for the past few issues, this magazine's energy is so chaotic lol
