Interview May 2016 : Dakota Johnson by Craig McDean

Guys I've got great news I received my issue yesterday and there's a Karl Templer editorial photographed by Craig McDean!!!! It's the only Templer feature within the issue though. There's also a Klein featuring numerous well known artists, stylists, people, etc. in masks a la like Steven Meisels Face the Future editorial. There's also a Kim Jones features shot by Fabien and another feature of some artist already in Wang Fall 2016. I'm sure I am missing a couple features but overall it's a great issue and a nice reassurance Templer is still around.

Thanks for the update, Weberfanatic!! McDean and Templer van do no wrong in my eyes. Still reminded of Julia's edit a few months ago.
But I'm more looking forward to the Klein edit....

Yeah it's gorgeous it felt like Klein's take on the society pages. All of the people including himself are shot in a black limo and there's this gorgeous double spread page of Cindy Sherman with a giant clown mask. The McDean is a classic graphic studio session, which I adore and the editorial looks like it was shot fairly recently because Katerine Noore, the chick whose hair was cut by Guido at the F/W 2016 Alexander Wang show (which Templer styles) was in the edit. Also the Kim Jones feature is classic Fabien a couple preview pics are on Jones Instagram and the interview is done by Nick Jonas.

Thanks, good to hear about Templer. Do you know what models are in the issue?

Thanks for the news, Weberfanatic! Glad to hear Templer is still on board, and the Klein edit sounds pretty amazing. This issue already sounds much better than last month's snoozefest.

I'm so relieved Karl Templer is still in the magazine. Can't wait to see his ed and Klein's story.

As for Dakota , the cover is stupid with the overused posed but I really like the editorial. Reminds me Iinez & Vinhood early 2000s work, especially the shots with the goggles. I still don't get Dakota's appeal though.
