Interview March 2017 : Brit Marling by Craig McDean

David Sims did by far and away the best story for me in this issue; I really love when Karl does mens-as-womenswear stories (like Daria by M Thompson and Missy in tuxedos also by Sims both for W). Such classic images and it's great to see those two re-connecting.

Craig's work for Interview is always flawless and 'Collections' is appropriately glam but I always kind of find it a waste to see KT doing 'copy, paste' from the runway...I've seen better stories from him. Sorrenti also did a good job, but these girls are not "super" enough for me to be doing these kind of nude portraits, although I get it's meant to be gritty but still, it's not very sexy.

Mikael/Ludivine story is bit too demode for me. LP is quite inconsistent for me with her output. Overall though, strongest March issue from Baron in a few years...usually it's a let down for me compared to other months.

So this cover made me curious about Brit and I started watching The OA, great show. She´s so talented :)

I really must be the only one that thinks the OA is a bunch of pretentious tosh.

Brit is obviously more modelesque than certain models.

The Klein story is absolutely amazing. What a physique Ms. Lombardi has! Reminds me of Mapplethorpe's portraits of Lisa Lyon from back in the day. It's incredible the amount of work it must take to maintain such a sculpted body and then to see it really celebrated in these clothes. Quite cool. Will be picking up a copy of this issue.

I agree that the photography is good, in fact, Klein should have used this girl instead of Lara for VI's shape issue last year.

The only thing I find weird is that her face is so soft and clasically feminine, yet from the neck down we get a body which would make Serena Williams and Madonna weep.

Well said, it's a beautiful ed. Some of the shots are downright Helmut Newton. Something that you take time to look at. Well done to everyone on the shoot, can't wait to see it in person.

I would have bought this issue for Kris alone, but the whole issue is fantastic
