Fashion director Susie Sheffman shares her on-set notes and tips on how to get this spring’s ballerina chic.

The scene: Toronto’s Walter Carsen Centre for the National Ballet of Canada.
“We went with this location because a lovely, light-filled studio with dancers was the perfect setting,” says Susie Sheffman, our fashion director. “While we were shooting, the dancers were doing their final rehearsals for Sleeping Beauty. There was a real buzz in the building.”

“Our model, Irina Funtikova, a competitive rhythmic gymnast, inspired us.”

I know it's very late, but I have this ed and I've been meaning to ask who the model was so that I could post it...I'll try scanning it tomorrow afternoon!
