Well, seems like the austrians finally recognised we have our very own Topmodel to write about in newspapers (not only Ms Klum ) Iris has an interview in "Seitenblicke" and "Madonna" but it's mainly the same thing so I'll only post one:


You are the face of the new Valentino F/W09 campaign. What does that mean to you?
Strubegger: That is a big honor for me! It was very exciting to shoot it. The collaboration came that way: I walked for Valentino in february during the ready to wear shows and moreover I've already worked with the photographers "Mert & Marcus" before.

Would you describe yourself as a muse?
Strubegger: I don't know if I'd call it "muse" but I am a very special character. Not an everyday-classic-beauty with long blonde hair. My type is in demand right now and inspires the designers.

What makes you stand out to others?
Strubegger: I am very tall (1.82). Moreover my hair is short and dark, what, together with my distincitve cheekbones, is sort of a trademark of mine.

How can we imagine your life at the moment?
Strubegger: As it's a little more relaxed during August in the fashion industry, I managed to come to Austria for a few weeks. I have spent time with my family and friends and really enjoyed it.

How is your life in NY?
Strubegger: Together with two model-friends I live in a shared flat. We get along very well and since I have this flat with them, I feel a lot more at home in NY.

Do you like the lifestyle?
Strubegger: Yes, even if I try to live as unhurried as possible. I love long walks in the nature or meeting friends for brunch. That is my own NY-lifestyle. Austria will always remain my home. I miss my family, friends and boyfriend there, the nice food and the fresh air.

Do you often think about your job-future?
Strubegger: You never know when it comes to an end in the modelling industry. Maybe my type is in demand for a couple of years, but maybe it is over for me rather soon. I have my university-diploma and that is important for me. So I just see what comes...
