She is far more beautiful in natural candids than done up at events IMO. Being all dolled up and standing on a red carpet seems to go against everything she really is + everything she projects, IMO.

Agreed b... i have rarely seen her looking good and looking like herself on the red carpet.. actually, early on she seemed to dress herself and dress down, and she looked wonderful. Lately she wears so much makeup, looks overly tanned and just awkward..

Including this latest appearance, sadly..

I have grown to enjoy her red carpet appearances as much as her candids, even when she appears to be uncomfortable with the attention (?), I love that her style still seems genuinely joyful and color-trained in both places, she seems more of a hippie in candids, whilst her red carpet choices also have a 70s Italian type of extravaganza.. all the prints, jewelery and makeup.. don't know how to describe it but it's quite concordant with her candids to me.
