"I used to live in Kakadu, which is in Jabiru," .....speaks the gibberish-sounding place names so nonchalantly that it's momentarily plausible that she's referring to a distant planet ...."energy of the trees and air." ...she launches into a lengthy discourse on the differences between jackals and dingoes. Kakadu, it turns out, is an Aboriginal community where Lucas lived for a year during her seminomadic, bohemian childhood.
thats just the way we [australians] speak...and its just our culture and our heritage. we are a bit bohemian -free spirited -open minded...I will also point out that Kakadu is not an aboriginal community, it is an area in Australia where there is a national park. It does however have a lot of aboriginal culture and heritage.
Also..if anyone knows who that amazing pink dress is by?
