Wow, I didn't think she would be wearing Vera Wang for her wedding dress but ok...Maybe I was envisioning she would do something like Melania did. Guess not! I hope it will be beautiful anyway.

Yeah but she wasn't "high fashion," I guess I expected more from Ivanka; to have a one-of-a-kind, custom made, masterpiece. Because after all, she has all the designers and fashion houses at her disposal and daddy's money. Plus, if she wants it to be a big society wedding, which it looks like it will be then why not make it spectacular? Everybody uses Vera and I'm not knocking her either...but she's become the "go to" for celebirties and it's getting tiresome for me. Who knows, maybe it will be out of this world, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
^ Oh, I don't know...Vera is fine I guess, but at one time I would have bet on Galliano or something exotic as well... From what I can see, this is shaping up to be a cross-cultural New Jersey disappointment, at least as far as one would expect from a Trump daughter... The recent Ivanka (low key, low profile) and Jared (very publicity shy with lots of questions he doesn't want asked...), the family situations...It just seems- strange, I'm really not excitied, I just hope it goes well...

Hey, Jared was actually on FOX News or something a while back, talking about his new business venture. He is even cuter on t.v! But you're right he looked uncomfortable being there and talking about his product. Seems a bit strange...
Yes, I've seen him interviewed, too- I would never guess Harvard and a law degree; kind of a nerd, honestly... and he seems to be in over his head in his publishing and real estate endeavors...But if Ivanka is happy, I guess that is what really matters...I think it's just not at all what I was expecting (and I'm not the only one...) 
I hear access at the wedding is going to be very limited, but I hope some good pictures/videos will surface- Donald is very tight with the Entertainment Tonight crew, so maybe...

hahaha I think you're quite right about Donald....and I am a fan of nerds, so that's an added plus for Jared.

Things like this make me wonder (again) how the kids grew up so normal and nice...
