^I know she has the most immaculate skin ever, even in photos she's not wearing much makeup. I'm so jealous!! I really think besides some of the PS/styling changes she's made over the years - her luminous skin and glow is the main reason she's such a knockout now (well the brains, legs and hair help too )

The hair!! It is just a cascade of champagne perfectness!! The last time I saw her that was all I could see- the hair is simply the best! I used to get so annoyed when people said "She would never be a model if it wasn't for her father..." If they saw her in person, they would never say that- she looks better and much more striking than many of the models do in real life; she walks in the room and you can't take you eyes off of her! B)

(NEW YORK) Doom and gloom, be banished! Last night, Gilles Mendel and Ivanka Trump hosted a cocktail party at the J. Mendel boutique on Madison Avenue for Life in Color, a new book by wardrobe consultants Joe Lupo and Jesse Garza of Visual Therapy.
"I can't take this coat off," announced Carmen Dell'Orefice as the coatcheck girl attempted to wrangle her large fur. "Gilles gave it to me as a gift." The model mugged appropriately for the cameras with everyone in sight before quickly ducking out. "My foot is bothering me so I must go," said Dell'Orefice as she made a grand, sweeping exit.
Mendel and Trump mingled with champagne-swillers like Vogue's Meredith Melling Burke, Dr. Lisa Airan, and Amy Fine Collins. "To be profitable in this environment is no easy feat," noted Trump, who was decked out in J. Mendel as well as one of her own diamond necklaces that was draped over her decolletage. "We're there so we must be doing something right."

Thank you for the pics, Boomer! I think this dress is lovely, but somehow I don't like it on Ivanka. This color makes her look so...washed-out. Not her best look IMO.

February 2, 2009 -- THAT Ivanka Trump told a Professional Women in Construction panel moderated by The Post's Lois Weiss that the Trump Organization is looking for opportunities to take over other developers' projects stopped in mid-construction or being taken back by lenders . . .

Interesting she would get up and say this, since tomorrow their Casino company has to either announce a deal to keep afloat (they are out of money) or file bankruptcy for the third time... But the Trumps seem to have plenty of money to pursue other ventures- wouldn't maybe want to invest a bit in this failure, huh? ...I guess when it's the shareholder's dollars going down the drain it's a different story...
