So Ivanka and Jared left for their honeymoon in South Africa (South Africa?? Expect to see an announcement of Trump Johannesburg in the near future...business trip, don't you know...

Ivanka Inks Footwear Deal
Her father has ties, suits and watches with his name on them but Ivanka Trump might be the first Trump with her own shoe deal.
The model-turned-businesswoman, author and designer has inked a deal for a contemporary footwear line via a licensing agreement with Marc Fisher Footwear.
“Ivanka had been thinking about a footwear line and someone recommended Marc Fisher to her. Simultaneously, we saw Ivanka’s iconic style as an opportunity to fill a niche in the footwear business,” said Marc Fisher President Susan Itzkowitz. “When we met, we realized our visions were one and the same and the partnership was formed.”
Beyond that similar take on fashion, the Marc Fisher brand was impressed by Trump’s dedication to her career.
“We believe Ivanka has something fresh and distinctive to offer in what is otherwise a celebrity-saturated market,” Marc Fisher, CEO of his eponymous firm, said in a statement.
“She has substance, a successful career and fashionable life that is appealing to all women.”
In addition to her developing footwear collection, Trump is exploring further licensing opportunities for apparel and accessories.
She already has an eponymous jewelry collection, which is housed in the Ivanka Trump Collection flagship on Madison Avenue.
“Our deal was finalized within two weeks of meeting Marc Fisher. I knew immediately that we would be able to successfully collaborate together and that he could execute our vision in accordance with my design aesthetic,” said Trump. “I am confident that our partnership will produce the type of quality and high style product that will appeal to many.”

I have a feeling the market for celebrity branded clothing is just becoming too saturated. Eerrr, I like Ivanka but I dont think I would buy clothes just because they are "by her". Plus, doesnt her mother already have a line as well?
^ Yes, she does- clothing, jewelry and perfume...It is kind of downmarket, however (it sells very well to Midwestern Housewives on Home Shopping Network) but is kind of garish (big surprise)- lots of purple pantsuits and things like that...Ivanka's jewelry is very expensive and by all accounts very well done and tasteful, so maybe there is hope for her other things being nice....Her father's shirts, suits and ties, by the way, are very high quality and somewhat reasonably priced. I was very surprised- they really are beautiful! 
I'm all for Brand Ivanka and Brand Trump in general- I just think they need to dig themselves out from the many other business disasters they (Donald) have created as well- the image is really damaged at this point... I'm not sure that headlines about bankrupt casinos and empty condominiums that they can't afford to finish building are going to promote the Ivanka Lifestyle for young women......
