more pictures please! Already I'm loving that colorblock pencil skirt in the backyard. Honestly, Jenna Lyons (I think that's her surname?) is taking J. Crew to a whole new level. I'm not just speaking in terms of clothes (with some seasons being stronger than others), but the styling is impeccable, and the collaborations they've been doing with smaller brands has been great. I also love that they are carrying some interesting one-off pieces like the vintage Rolex's.

Meg - I couldn't have said it better. The last catalog I received had some of the best styling I have ever seen from them to date. The mixing and matching Jenna has done has brought a whole new youthful vibe to the clothing that some may have not looked at twice a few years ago. I also noticed that the women are being styled in men's peices such as oxford shirts etc, but she makes them look feminine at the same time. The collabs are great too...they aren't overshadowing the brand at all. They fit just right.

Sorry I meant 'back' not 'backyard'. Sheesh. I don't know why my typing is so bad sometimes!

anyway, thank you for the close ups! I'm love that long bi-color dress, some of the gorgeous tweed jackets and that lovely leather (I think?) drape-y jacket. I agree ILC - the brand is never overshadowed. Everything fits. They have do a great mix of feminine and masculine pieces. I just received my earrings from them the other day and they are so big and awesome. It's great that a major retailer offers something like that.

is this jcrew or forever 21 lol , the styling is very tacky its soo forever 21 haha

I love all the pretty soft colors! I've been loving J.Crew the last several seasons. And I swear its the only brand I've been able to find that sells decently made leather goods and wool fabrics at a modest price!

Tacky!?

I get a very vintage-y feel by seeing those photos..

Only item I would drop is the camo cardi. :ninja:

i agree erin....i think it's very street and indeed very vintage.

i do have an issue with their price range though. i mean most of it is a bit similar to the GAP,Uniqlo and some items at H&M and their prices are a fraction and more than what j.crew charges for much of their stuff.

Don't like most of the styling, but many of the pieces are great on their own!

Has anybody received their March '10 catalog?

I'm in love! Wonderful photos, and I love that they've featured different women in their designs (and have more info on them at the website).

Will post my favorites perhaps later on... very excited. :)

Here's one of the pictures I keep going back to... LOVE the romper, too bad it's $125... a bit too steep for me...

^Can't wait. It's kind of embarrassing how much I love getting J.Crew catalogs in the mail...

^ Aw, an Iowan. :)

Yes, I know. I want to tear them up sometimes and put a photo or two on my inspiration board, but I'm so silly... I hate ripping out any of the pages. :ninja:
