This month, T celebrates the Nifty 50: America’s up-and-coming talent.

It’s hard to believe that there could be any point of intersection between the Jersey Shore and high fashion, especially given MTV’s trashy new reality show. But there is one: 17-year-old Jacquelyn Jablonski.

She’s Ford Models’s bright star, a girl-next-door type with sculptural features and Brooke Shields brows who walked 58 shows — including Balenciaga and Prada — her debut season and landed the cK Jeans campaign.

Though we’ve no word on whether anything comes between Jablonski and her Calvins, we are able to clear up some common misconceptions, namely that Jablonski is not from the town in which “Jersey Shore” is shot; nor is she related to the French model Constance Jablonski. She is, however, a holder of an America passport, which, in an industry dominated by Brazilians, Eastern Europeans and lately the Dutch, is fairly exotic.

And there’s no doubt that Jablonski, who is of Polish origin, is as American as apple pie. She looks up to her mother, admires Cindy Crawford and is a fan of Bruce Springsteen (favorite song: “Rosalita”). What she’d like you to know about her is that she’s “really into sports and played soccer growing up,” she says. “I can have just as good of a time watching football with the boys. I guess you could say I’m kind of a jock.” And most definitely a stunner.

“I’m always thrilled to work with [Jacquelyn] because she’s super-sweet and it seems like we keep on meeting up to do bigger and better things,” says Sebastian Kim, a rising photographer who apprenticed both with Richard Avedon and Steven Meisel. “I’m happy to see her shoot up. She deserves it as she’s got super-cool vibes.” She’s also got a New Year’s resolution: “To find an apartment in the city! Commuting from Jersey every day and crashing on my friend’s couch gets old after a while,” she said.
