Personally, I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not knowing who Jamie was prior to the Marc Jacobs show this season. She lent a certain level of austerity to that show that in retrospect seems almost necessary.

I really hope to see her do a few more runways this season!

I have to say I didn't know her either. She doesn't particularly look like a model...is she 'something else' originaly and just happens to model here and there (like Geanine Marquez or Daisy Lowe) Or is this a really stupid question?

100% legit model. She's wonderful. This clip is from that documentary I keep referring to that as far as I'm concerned is required viewing. Unfortunately I have it on VHS otherwise I'd find a way to upload it in its entirety but thank god YouTube user "laylurikyu" did at least part of Jamie's segment.

Thanks Atelier! My first impression of her came from her gig at MJ and I didn't think she looked appealing at all - I didn't bring up Geanine Marquez for nothing. But after seeing that video (awesome documentary!) her personality won me over. And she looks gorgeous on film. As I said, she isn't an obvious model, and I think that is exactly her appeal. I bet she can totally work something like a Givenchy or YSL show....A typical case of there's something about her, but I just can't put my finger on it.
