I send in some snap shots of myself into Vivien's Model Management in Perth and they liked them enough so I went for an interview!

I am learning to fly a small engine plane, cooking, photography, surfing, traveling and playing soccer

When I was at the Perth airport, I told my dad that I am gonna miss him and that I love him!

Jan Aeberhard was born in Switzerland but was scouted travelling on a gap year across the other side of the world in Australia.

He has been modelling part-time since the summer of 2012 and goes full-time in July after completing his compulsory military training.

Jan landed his first campaign in Autumn 2013 for A.P.C alongside Barbara Palvin and in January 2014 walked exclusively for Versace. His editorial credits include VMAN, WWD and Wonderland Magazine.

Jan is quickly transforming from a boy into very striking young man and we can’t wait to watch his career develop over the coming months!

What’s your best feature: My lips I guess?

Top 3 beauty/grooming products: Shampoo, baby oil and conditioner of my sister, she is not that happy about me using her stuff haha

What’s been your most lavish purchase?: an iPod for $700 when it was new to have an iPod, I hardly ever used it…

Hobbies: At the moment i’m in the military, so there is no time for hobbies. Otherwise I like to play soccer 5 times a week, but any sports. I also play the piano and enjoy cooking.

Fitness Regime: I am in the military at the moment

What was the last track you listened to on your iPod?: I actually hardly listen to music

Do you have any Guilty Pleasures?: I love chocolate, I guess it’s normal to eat half a bar of chocolate every day if you are Swiss!

What is your biggest fear?: That there is no chocolate anymore, hahaha. I’m not really a scared person at all.

What is your dream country to visit?: I would love to go once to Vietnam

If you were not modeling, what would you be doing?: Being less absent from the military, that would probably help to be less hated by my lieutenant!

If you could be on the cover of any magazine, it would be: GQ would be nice

What was the last thing to make you cry?: When a friend of mine shot himself

What’s your favorite fashion city and why?: Paris in summer, it is beautiful, the nature, the parks, the cafes etc.

Who are your idols?: I don’t really have any idols. I read a couple of biographies but they didn’t become my Idols…

What was the last dream you remember?: Me doing really weird stuff, better don’t tell!
