Canadian-born Janeen Witherspoon originally trained in art, dance and drama and her creativity soon led her to focus her creative talents on make-up. She was renowned make-up artist Diane Kendal’s first assistant for four years, and in 2010 she went on to launch her freelance career with Julian Watson Agency. Janeen Witherspoon is known for experimenting with light and dark, working with the contours of the face to create beautiful make-up with flawless skin, and is now one of the most sought-after figures of the new generation of make-up artists. She is interviewed by Frédérique Verley, beauty editor of Vogue Paris for the October 2012 issue, in which she appears in the Talents Cachés beauty story alongside Mark Hampton, Benjamin Puckey and Akki Shirakawa as one of the four young talents making their mark on the world of beauty.
