I have a leg up on all of you I've met her in person, and have a personal signed copy of her book "No Lifeguard on Duty". Yes, she's gorgeous and this is the first time that I'll fess up to having met her in person in San Francisco. This was in 2002 when her book came out and she was signing them at Borders. She was beautiful in person and this was before she had all the major surgery when she was on ANTM.

She was raucous and electrifying in person and owned that crowd. A clueless straight guy walked into the store and saw all the cameras and became confused and she ordered him to buy her book and he did! Obviously, her beauty and mystery overwhelmed him! She even demonstrated to the entire crowd her suppleness and agility by wrapping both her legs behind her neck.

My signed copy reads the following: "To Angel222, Thank you for supporting the World's First Supermodel. Love Janice Dickinson".

I think Janice was honestly one of the most gorgeous models I have ever seen. I am just stunned by much of her early work. Her face.....my god, she was so beautiful and flawless. I think if I ever saw her in person in the past I'd be floored. She was such a brilliant model imo.

But unfortunately she is NOT aging well at all. I don't know how much work she's had done, but it isn't paying off. It's almost tragic in a way.

She was definitely sharp in her time and I knew someone who looked very much like her who idolized her. In some of her pictures, it would be hard to tell the two apart. There were similarities even in the way they talked and in many of their mannerisms. Lost track of her about 15 years ago though.

Janice was one that not everyone knew though. She was unique, and well known in the field, but not as 'famous' to the general population as some of the others.
