Once you start playing that game with the press, they will just name another name... first one that she doesn't deny, well that's a 'yes' in their eyes.

This is just one story... echoing through the blogs like every other celebrity story with no information, or made-up facts.
Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zach Galifinakis has admitted that he has a problem with alcohol and that he falls into deep depressions, so its not like he is the most stable guy out there.

well, in this case, exact opposite happened - there was first jason, then mcavoy, then fassbender, then the australian actor and now vaughn. she didn't raise a voice once about them, and the only reaction happened form vaughn camp and they denied and he's now top contender for the father.

on that note, i really have to agree with Lainey's point about the possibility of him not being the father and her keeping quiet regardless.

I'm finding it really interesting/weird how all of a sudden her rep (and Blake Lively's) are taking such a beating at the moment. A few months ago they were just actresses who wore great clothes. But now it's like they done something really terrible.
i don't find it surprising. just look how much people are obsessed with celeb pregnancies, even a pregnant D-lister will get paps following her the moment she's pregnant and makes a statement for People magazine. of course January's going into the public eye asap with this esp. with the whole "scandal" that went with it. all of these stories about her personality just came "naturally" with the fact she's one of the top 3 gossip stories atm, so of course everyone's telling "their January story" since, as you said, she was just "an actress who wore great clothes" up until the whole pregnancy story started. she just wasn't as interesting as she is now with this whole story. now everything regarding her is given much more value than before since mags are living on this for few weeks now and will live for few more.

on another note, i really don't see how Zach G.'s private problems have anything to do with his JJ story (if in fact it was a story and not a joke). if anything, unlike us (in general i think), he actually had an encounter with her. (again, if it wasn't a joke and i'm not getting into the whole mean/not mean value given to his comment). :flower:

But what's the point of publicly denying so-and-so is the father when people like Lainey are just going to pull another actor's name out of a hat and accuse them of being the father. I mean eventually they're going to run out of male costars to use and start accusing Jennifer Lawrence and Rose Byrne of being the father.

On the note of Zach G...read the new Rolling Stone piece with him. He sounds like a nasty piece of work! He's very bitchy, unusual for a male actor.

i was referring to the poster's claim that if he/she doesn't deny it, it must mean he/she's the parent when exact opposite happened in this case. nothing more.

about the denying? well, if it would help by taking his name out of the mud which at the moment is indeed being dragged badly (and i'm speaking this hypotetically if he's not the father). i think that counts more than what one or other blogger might write, no? also, it might help her current reputation of possibly being a mistress?

Kobro22 - i got another vibe from that article, more in line of being a bit misunderstood, but either way, he's not the one holding the rep like JJ. he might tho in the future, but at the moment, considering other reports about JJ his story kinda goes with it, no?

@darekshn, I totally see your point. It just made me a bit sad because let's face it JAnuary is 33 in Hollywood years that is over the hill, she has never shown herself to be an even good actress, her acting is horrendous, when she was on SNL I was actually embarrased for her. She is not getting any starring roles, at most she is getting supporting roles in B-movies or the eye candy role in a comic book franchise.
Her role on MAd Man is minimal, and who knows if it want get comletely cut this upcoming season.

It's not like she slept her way to the top, you don't see her stalking Harvey Weinstein etc.

I just felt bad for her, because lets face it there are a ton of bland, untalented actressses in Hollywood - like can someine explain to me Olivia Wilde and why is she in every movie?

But yeah LAiney definitely had some good points.

oh sorry, i misadressed you Kobro for Luxxx in my previous post, sorry. just now realized.

why would you feel sorry for her (apart from this whole scandal, i'm not referring to that)? with such a questionable talent she's in one of the best tv shows out there, she's known for her fashion sense and she landed a role in a successful franchise. i don't see why anyone should feel bad about her career and her status. if anything, she's one of the more successful "bland" actresses out there. on the other hand, maybe it's her reputation that's been holding her back from getting bigger stuff?

I disagree with the premise that she is bad actress, one only needs to watch Mad Men to see that with the right script and direction...she's can be amazing. And believe it or not, she was the first actress to be nominated for a major award form that show. Not that it means anything, but there was a time--when she was on the come up--that she had many supporters. She was also really great in a film called The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada and even got some Oscar talk for it, some years back.

i've watched her in MM and i always thought she's fine (and quite interesting), but then i watched X-Men and it was bad-bad-bad, not Zoe Kravitz bad, but bad and i came to kinda-conclusion that she acts the same and portraying herself onto the role. guess i have to watch more of her stuff to get a definite opinion on her, but she does fit MM perfectly, IMO.:flower:

Her character in MM is bland though. I mean I've only recently started watching it and I thought she was the weakest link out of all the actors. I don't think there has been a scene where I thought "oh wow, she was excellent" but that's just me.

Wow, thanks for the tip LUXXX, I will definitely check out the movie.

In refrence to MAd MAn I actually think she is rather underwhelming, but again she is playing a very cold and unemotional individual.

It’s a boy for January Jones!

The 33-year-old Mad Men star welcomed her first child on Tuesday (September 13),

January and son Xander Danes Jones are “doing great,” says her rep.

A source previously told People, which first reported news about Xander’s birth, that January is “really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom.”

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner earlier this summer also shared that he thinks January was going “to be amazing [as a mom]. She is going to be someone who is going to be so devoted.”

Congratulations to the new mom! :)
I love the name Xander.
I knew it would be a boy. I called it a few months ago.

Any chance she'll pull a Heidi Klum and attend the Emmy Awards on Sunday? :D

WOO HOO yay good for her.

LOVE the name Xander (hardcore Buffy fan here).

kind of hope she does a PEOPLE spread.

Yeah, I just read that she is not confirmed for the show or any parties.

But P.S....her pregnancy went fast! Some of these celebs seem like their pregs forever! I guess because she didn't show for awhile. This means she was pregnant at The Globes, SAG and all through Unknown promo.
