Ew...Michelle looks like she's still fifteen. I remember seeing the previews for that cheesy 'Europtrip' movie where she tries to make herself into a sex-object (a la Tara Reid) but she's got the body of, like, a 12 year-old so she ended up just looking really stupid.

I'm amazed that grown men who are well into their thirties are attracted to women who, while being legally adults, still look like they're children (ex: Michelle, Mary Kate Olsen). And when I say 'look like children' I don't mean they have a child-like innocence to them (like Natalia Vodianova) what I mean is that they literally look like they have the bodies of children-- small stature and flat chested with few curves.

Really? I think Michelle is one of the few actresses with a healthy body. She's big boned (and no, I don't mean fat, I mean she literally has a larger skeletal structure with big wrists and ankles).

I still don't comprehend how being short and pale with small boobs means that you can't be sexy. Sorry, some of us weren't blessed with height, boobs or pigment! I think she's stunning and her new BF is HOT! Jason seems to have better taste than star chasers like Brody Jenner, Stavros, etc.

They are plenty of women in hollywood who are pale,short, and who have small chests who are considered sexy. Naomi Watts is gorgeous and she's shorter than Michelle (who isn't short, isn't she like 5'6?).

Of course everyone is entitled to their opinions. If I were Michelle, I don't think I would care, because, well, you know, I would be going out with Jason Lewis.

And I think that she has a healthier body than Mary Kate, Naomi and the majority of females in Hollywood, which is why I don't understand what that person was saying. And yeah, she's not really short, which is another reason I didn't understand that premise. I think she's 5'6"-5'7".

LOL, Harriet the Spy was a long time ago, because I used to love that movie (before it fell in some rain water unfortunately lol) when I was very young and she's 3 years older than me. And as for the shots, her legs and arms really do look like that, you can check many, many pics of her.

I don't doubt it! But in real life she would probably look more like the set of photos I posted. Yours are the sort of super focused pap shots that accentuate flaws that are there. I don't know - she isn't the cutest. And I am like the same age as her but because I always identified with Buffy (doh!) she was always the little sister role. And Harriet The Spy totally rocked! Whaddaya mean it fell in the rain... you mean the tape? This is not a metaphor for your relationship with the film is it?

I guess I should have delved deeper into my pscyhe to come up with the reason why I find it so gross. SiennaInLondon actually pointed it out nicely. Many of these actresses are associated with 'kid' films like Harriet the Spy and the entire Olsen empire so that, combined with their small stature, little-to-nonexistant curves and/or childlike face (Michelle has the child-like face, flat chest and small features) gives them a very 'child-like' image. Putting them in low-cut dresses just makes them look like they're teenagers trying too hard to look sexy. Scarlett Johanson (sp) was a child actress but her physical appearance combined with the fact that she's done a bunch of serious adult movies (not American-Pie clones) gives her a more grown-up image and thus much less icky (to me) when she dates older men.

I didn't say that they shouldn't be dating at all, I just find it creepier that men in their thirties are attracted to girls like MK Olsen (she is tiny) and Michelle (who does look very young) and the fact that they're best known for their kiddie roles is probably the reason why I find it so icky.

Actually, come to think of it I also find Jason Lewis to be a bit icky himself...too pretty for my taste

Well, she made that movie (Harriet) when she was 9-10. I don't think it's fair to judge someone by what they did when they were a child, and just about every actor has done some stupid teeny movie, even the ones who have tons of awards on their shelf (just look at Tom Hanks's entire 80s movie career). And about the small chest/young face thing, the reason I take offense to that is because I too have a young face (someone who saw a picture of just my face thought I was 13 or 14), small features and my breasts aren't large. I'm a lot fatter than Michelle, but if I was at my ideal weight, we'd have extremely similar body types. I don't think it's fair to say that just because some girls happen to be built like that, there's something wrong with a male being attracted to it. I mean, I happen to like men who are a lot older than me. Should they reject me because I'm not "womanly'" looking?

And how can you judge how mature someone is by the way they look or some movie they made? Just becuse Scarlett has big boobs and has done "mature" roles, it doesn't mean that she's ACTUALLY more mature than any other actor her age. It's acting. I've done roles that are absolutely nothing like the way I am in real life, but that's your job as an actor.

I don't know. I do see Vain Jane's points (including the fact that Jason Lewis is gross... him and Sawyer from Lost *shudder*) I mean we aren't exactly condemning her, we are just saying we find it a bit odd considering how we are used to seeing her. It isn't a judgement. I mean we all have different perspectives on people. To me Leonardo Dicaprio will always be my childhood crush but to 10 year olds now, he is just a good looking 30 year old hollywood player. It is just perspective. I do disagree with vainjane in that men are meant to go for teen girls. It is an age old stereotype of a male fantasy.
