Jason Wu Collection F/W 2023.24 New York

The location atmosphere looks like a NY high society party. It helps to elevate the collection.

It's a great collection, the tailoring mixed with more classic ball gowns make a perfect transition from day to night look. My favorite looks are the first jacket, and look 11 black gown is just stunning. The outerwears are also great.

I love that Jason understands what his brand stands for and never chases after what's trendy right now.
Someone needs to give him the ODLR position because he understands the spirit of the house perfectly.

This is easily one of my favorites collection of NYFW.

The 5th ones my fav, the print
I love how clean his garments look in motion, really high quality execution

Look 6 is great.
I wish the tailoring was more sharp or radical. It’s the real fresh proposition here but it doesn’t have the impact it should have.

Look 6 is my favorite too, with the fringed dresses, and it's overall a likable collection but let's be honest: most of the gowns are just basic-looking, well-done but not much more to offer.

Love this, siophisticated yet still sexy. The location makes one appreciate the clothes more not the usual cluttered venues we get from NYFW nowadays.

Simple, clean and sophisticated. Very safe in parts, but there are moments where taste is toyed a little bit to add a little more tooth to the collection which I like. Many ways the Emilia Wickstead of NYFW not because it copies her, but because there's a similar sensation of refinement.

Just wish the jacket shoulders were more refined. They look a bit padless but with a sleeve-roll which irks me a bit. The look is on trend though with the slouchy broadness, so I get why.

Its Dylan Mulvaney's Audrey Hepburn fantasy come true lol

My thoughts as well. My eyes got grabbed by the red one first then I told myself it would be even stronger with a tad more structure, especially in the shoulder area. But I guess it's a matter of taste... Overall I can't complain about this collection. He's never been a favorite of mine but there is nothing repulsive in his work, not always my cup of tea but still enjoyable as a whole.
