really? i quite think that he is silently doing well. There are a few ugly pieces but also some good ones.

I do wonder why he chanelled mcqueen this season tho

Actually enjoy this thoroughly! I see the Burton-isms, but if these were styled with a great pump or sling back heel it wouldn’t look so like her McQueen. Same goes for the hair. If it were just pulled back in an unfussy low bun to keep it simple and away from the interesting necklines I think it would have been better.

Wu has been surprising me a lot lately. And I do wish this got a runway show to see how the pieces look in motion. There are some odd experiments in here, but again they’re experiments and is embracing a bit of spontaneity which again is why a show would have been nice to see how they all move and work.

Too bad this was just a presentation, it probably would have been one of the better collections in NYC, if not the best.
Even if it does give McQueen in certain pieces haha

no styling trick will make this collection less burton. the color pallete alone is a direct copy. Only the tailoring when you look closer will give it away that its not her.
