Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture S/S 2025 Paris

Still waiting for JPG to invite Olivier Theyskens to make a collection...I´d love to see a dark gothic and romantic interpretation of Gaultier.
Frankly I’d really like to see someone take on the more languid and romantic side of JPG. His Spring and Fall 2004 couture collections come to mind, but even those first few shows would be a dream to see some takes on. Purely for the textiles alone in all honesty. His odes to Gres, Vionnet, Lanvin and the draped French classics are so gorgeous!

The excess of corsetry in these collabs I have found rather annoying. I know it’s a massive staple for JPG, but there’s just so much more.

So hopeful LOL

Frankly, Ludovic's was very Elena Velez. Love to see the OG copycat Elena for the next collab. But the unfortunate reality is that Harris Reed would likely be a contender. Ludovic really set the standards lowest. As if Simone and that last guy wasn’t low enough.

I laughed out loud at Amelia Gray's movements she looked like a chicken moving without her head. I didn't find the couture that dissapointing considering the bar is very low right now. The show has been going viral on social media so he basically won by marketing standards.
