Jen & Vince: Must be VERY good Friends!

we must have different definitions of "cruel" then. whipping one's spouse -- cruel.having to watch either MEET JOE BLACK or THE OBJECT OF MY AFFECTIONS -- cruel.seeing purdy photos by Steven Klein, one of the country's leading fashion photographers in promotion for a movie -- not cruel

i doubt FrockRadar8 meant that the photographer was cruel as well. it s more bout Brad because even if he wasn t behind the idea of posing with Angelina, I am sure he had a say in whether or not to do that photoshoot. and most probably HE was behind that whole scenery. so if he moved on that quickly, am glad Jen got to move on too. although i don t even like her am happy for her.

^^It's actually been said in interviews that it WAS his idea for the photoshoot... he came up with the entire thing... pretty damn cruel to me:innocent:

That's right ... check the magazine for details. He was like the producer if not also director of the whole thing. Concept was his. I can dig up quotes if you like.

I found the whole thing rather disturbing and basically a waste of an entire issue of my subscription (for those who haven't seen it, it was about 60 pp or so? incredibly long). Err, I was expecting a magazine about fashion, not about Brad Pitt's issues ...

It seems that he and Jennifer had hit a stale patch ... then along came Angelina. But talk to almost any long-married couple, and you will hear that they had a rough patch ... and they stuck it out. Hello, Hollywood people ... that is an option :innocent:

of course he was behind it. talk bout rubbing it in. jen must ve felt awful. there was no need for that W thing even if it was planned for them to be on the cover way before the separation, he could ve chosen to pose without angelina or the kids for that matter. it s a question of not hurting others' feelings. that wasn t a classy move AT ALL. Vince seems like a fun guy but jen said she didn t wanna be a rebound girl, so we ll see how this whole thing s gonna turn out.

I read the quotes and in none of them is Pitt quoted as saying "I want to be cruel to Aniston or want to rub her face in with these pictures". This is all YOUR interpretations just like i interpret it as just a fancy smancy photo essay on a fashionable disturbing marriage which was the theme of their movie. You know I can see the viewpoint of people saying that Pitt has moved on from his marriage quickly but people saying that he is rubbing Aniston's face in with the W photos is a bit of a stretch to me.

Jen said something in an interview about the fact that Brad is missing a sensitivity chip ... something along those lines. He's not alone :innocent:

thehepburn: it doesn t take a genius to figure out that what he did was very mean and he was being insensitive so:innocent:

Come on now, he isn't gonna come out and actually SAY he did it to be rude:lol: ... He isn't that stupid... just lacking a bit of thoughtfulness and respect, thats all.

Also, wasn't it mentioned some where that he was looking to make the photoshoot into a coffee table book:ermm:

thehepburn, I have to agree with you. I didn't see that photoshoot as being a jab. They were promoting their movie, and that just happened to be the premise... I think everybody is reading a bit too much into it, anyway. I, personally, thought the photos turned out fabulous. I think we forget sometimes that these are actors we're dealing with... I'm in no way denying their relationship, but just saying, "so what?"

1. the photo shoot came out at least 2 weeks after the movie did. Pretty sh*tty promotion, since the movie already made all its big money in the first two weeks.

2. if your husband and you were in the process of breaking up (NOT EVEN DIVORCED YET - STILL FREAKING MARRIED) how would you feel if your husband was like "Let's do a photoshoot where we are a beautiful sexy couple with 3 beautiful children...." ESPECIALLY when there are all these sexist media rumours going around that Brad left Jen because she wouldn't "provide a family" for him!!!!!!!!!!

3. What the f*ck does that shoot about a family in the 60s have anything to do with Mr and Mrs Smith anyway? NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Usually to promote a movie you'd just pose in the latest fashions or they could have posed in some sort of action shot that is somehow related to the movie. Not as the most beautiful family in the past 60 years with 3 kids.

SO AT THE END OF THE DAY, whether Brad Pitt intended it as a "jab" or not, how can that photoshoot NOT be construed as totally hurtful to JEn?!

by the way, yes I think the photoshoot was beautiful, whether it is beautiful or not is besides the point, but those 2 are actors, not models, and if they wanted to do this photoshoot the timing couldn't have been WORSE.

^^ is all of this speculation about the W editorial really necessary? it seems like a waste of time and energy to argue about it . . .

it just seems off topic since I came to the thread to see about jen & vince, not brad and angelina

Wow.

Actually the shoot had a lot to do with the movie.

If you saw the movie, (which was awesome), you would have spotted the similarities. In the movie, they were both lieing to eachother their entire marriage. From the outside looking in, it looked like they had the perfect marriage. This was the same mentality of the photo shoot.

Wow, I wish I knew what it was like to be inside Brad's head.....:innocent:

Oh, no, not again! Please stick to Jen andd Vince, all right? Why do Jolie supporters and Aniston haters always find their ways back to trash Aniston threads?

Completely true. :flower:

I love that Jen called Vince "delicious". That he IS.

I agree Erin! :flower: Vince makes every movie that he is in! Always steals the show

Anyone saw the movie "Be Cool"? Vince is hilarious! He is such a scene stealer.
