was flipping through i-D magazine today and saw her editorial...all i can say is her body and skin is soooo amazing. I appreciate that the cover isn't so retouched that you can't see how beautiful her skin really is. Definitely one to watch.

i-D: Catching up with Covergirl Jeneil

Ben Reardon catches up with Summer covergirl Jeneil Williams to talk winks, travelling and music.

Ben: Was the cover a surprise?
Jeneil: Yes - we were just meant to be doing an editorial and then we ended up doing a cover try. I was practicing my wink for days during fashion week. Every time they had a camera on me I was like “jigga jigga ha…” [winks], trying to do something just to practice and get it.

B: Was the shoot over two days? Did you do the shoot and then the cover?
J: I did the shoot a week before and then it was fashion week. I needed to come to London before Fashion Week and we did the cover a few hours before my flight. It was a fast one but we did it and it was amazing!

B: So what’s been the reaction since?
J: Everyone loves it! The editorial was shot in the desert in L.A. It was fast - there wasn't even any hair or make-up. It was supposed to be a two-day shoot and we ended up finishing it in one.

B: Where are you travelling to next?
J: Here in London for a little bit, onto Paris then hopefully back to New York.

B: Where’s home?
J: Jamaica, but I live in New York now.

B: What’s your track list on your i-pod?
J: Oh wow - all kinds of stuff! A little bit of Grace Jones, a little bit of hip-hop, dance hall…

B: Studio One?
J: Yeah, I like Studio one.

B: When growing up, who in your family listened to really good music?
J: My Great Grandma - she liked old school reggae and stuff.

B: Do you like new Dance Hall?
J: Not all of me likes it. Now that I travel I get exposed to lots of different things.

B: Do you like dancing?
J: Yes, I love it! I'm not that good at it though!

I really hope continued success for jeneil..I ended up buying the issue of i-D with her on the cover, not only because it was her but because she really did have the best shot of them all. And to be featured along witih models like Gisele and Miranda is such an honor. There are no other models working right now that has the type of beauty she has-hopefully that be a great advantage for her.
