Jennifer Aniston’s romance with Justin Theroux has ended his 14-year relationship with his live-in girlfriend Heidi Bivens — who moved out of their home last weekend, Page Six has exclusively learned.​

Sources tell us Hollywood costume designer Bivens “is devastated” after Theroux abruptly ended their relationship as he got close to Aniston.​

Aniston, 42, and Theroux, 39, met last fall on the set of “Wanderlust,” due in October, but in recent weeks they have become inseparable.​

A source told us, “Heidi is heartbroken. She was completely blindsided. She and Justin had been together for years, they had a home. Then he met Jennifer and everything changed. At first he claimed he and Jen were friends.”​

A rep for Bivens confirmed to Page Six: “Heidi and Justin have been together for 14 years. They met when she was 20 years old and he 24, and yes, she just moved out of their home last weekend. She has no comment.”​

When Aniston and Theroux were first spotted dining together in May, her rep insisted they were friends. But it was reported at the time that Theroux is “edgier than the guys Jen usually dates . . . she really likes him.”​

In recent weeks, the pair have repeatedly been seen dining out and reportedly spending weekends together, with Hollywood sources telling us that “things are moving fast. They are practically living together.”​

Despite Heidi’s heartbreak, a friend of Theroux claimed, “Things were already over between him and Heidi before he got close to Jen…”​

A rep for Theroux declined to comment. A rep for Aniston didn’t get back to us.​

CAA has signed Justin Theroux. The actor/screenwriter, who'd been repped by UTA, will next be seen starring opposite Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd in the David Wain-directed comedy Wanderlust. Theroux's recent writing credits include the Adam Shankman-directed musical Rock of Ages, which just started shooting, and Iron Man 2 and Tropic Thunder. Theroux made his directing debut on Dedication, which starred Tom Wilkinson and Billy Crudup. Theroux continues to be managed by 3 Arts Entertainment's Nick Frenkel and Michael Rotenberg.

If this is true, then I hope it'll shut up all her fans who STILL continue to pour vitriol on Angelina. Jen can't claim the moral highground anymore.

This is not to suggest I'm blaming Jen, and too often homewrecker is a word used exclusively for women by women. Life is complicated, we never know when we will fall out of/in love. But the way society treats it, almost all the blame is apportioned on the other woman. Angelina was villified by some for this same reason.

Mother Of Justin Theroux’s Ex Speaks Out About Him Hooking Up With Jennifer Aniston

Nobody knows more about what it feels like to be a woman spurned than Jennifer Aniston.

But now that she’s hooked up with actor/writer Justin Theroux, the actress runs the risk of being seen in a different light with rumors that Theroux left his girlfriend of 14 years Heidi Bivens to be with her.


But the costume designer’s mom, Marilyn Bivens, has exclusively told RadarOnline.com that her daughter is “doing fine” despite her high profile and painful split.

She said: “Heidi is doing fine and just trying to get on with her life.”


According to reports Theroux, 39, and Aniston, 42, first hooked-up last autumn while they had been filming Wanderlust together; he was last photographed in public with Bivens at The House Of Blues Leaves opening night on Broadway on April 25, 2011.

Aniston and her new man went public with a very public display of affection at the MTV Movie Awards bash last month at West Hollywood’s SoHo House.


Bivens has refused to talk about the split, but has now moved out of Theroux’s New York home; they first met when she was 20-years-old and he was 24.

Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt, who famously dumped her after he hooked up with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie.


Pitt walked out on his 5-year marriage to Aniston to be with Jolie in 2005. The couple are still together and now have six kids; Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, plus twins Knox and Vivienne.

This is annoying. I've loved Justin Theroux since Mullholland Drive and never thought he'd be involved in all this drama. *shakes head*

Who really bought the "poor Jennifer" schtick, anyway? She's an adult, things happen. It was all a media play.

Shut ur mouths ya'll. Nothing is clear yet. I seriously doubt Jen would break up a marriage. And at least they were not married, so there was no divorce unlike angelina. so it could be possible that, he ended things with his long-time girlfriend. Honestly, i don't see Jen doing what's been done to her to someone else.

^ It's ridiculous to imply that a long-term relationship is somehow less important than a marriage. Biven & Theroux were together for 14 years and made a life together, which in my books is a more serious commitment than a four year marriage (Pitt & Aniston).

I won't make a judgement yet, because we don't know if Aniston did 'steal' Justin (a silly idea anyway; you can't steal a man, he has a free will). But if she did break up the relationship, that's truly poor form. Can't say I ever had any sympathy for her; she's just so bloody vanilla. At least Angelina has spice.

this situation is interesting purely for seeing Jen in possibly reversed roles after years of practically building her whole recent image on the "cheated one".

one more thing, i find it LoLworthy how Justin's considered an up and coming - man wrote the Ironman script among other stuff. also, he signed onto CAA after the whole Jen story started. that's the interesting bit...apart from that, he's apparently known for his wandering eye for years now.

And i think ur right, the media makes it sound like Jen is desperately looking for love. She herself has said that she has been lucky when it comes to love and that it might not look like it on the surface

I must read different sites, because Jennifer Aniston is not universally loved on the ones that I read, having said that I am more annoyed and just plain tired of her hooking up once again with a co-star. If his ex still wants him, she does not have to worry because he will be back on the market soon.

^ I respectfully disagree with post #14. IF they weren't living together, and hadn't been together for 14 years (much longer than Brad & Jen ever were) then I might concur. But this is an equal faux pas in my books. And it sounds like Jen was hooking up with him before he broke up with his girlfriend. If you live with someone and spend 14 years together, for all intents and purposes, you are married. The marriage itself? That is just a formality, imo.

Oh the irony of this story. It is quite something.

I think it teaches or reminds us all of something - be careful about being judgemental until you have walked in the shoes of the person whom you judge!
