Jennifer Aniston has got a new nose. Us Weekly reports the former Friends star is in hiding after spending four hours at a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
"She went in glowing and came out with black and blue bruises along her right eyebrow and across the tip of her nose and her upper lip," the report says.
Ouch! A source close to the actress says Aniston has wanted to have a nose job for more than a decade.
"Jen has hated her nose ever since her first nose job. She has always said how lousy it was and that her nose was still too wide," the source says.
Aniston's rep has confirmed the nose job took place, but says it was not done for cosmetic purposes.
“Jennifer had a procedure done to correct a deviated septum that was incorrectly done over 12 years ago,” the rep says.
Sounds like the same excuse Cameron Diaz used and no surprises here — it’s the same plastic surgeon!

Upper lip bruising.....I've never heard of that with a standard nosejob.

I don't blame her for going back the second time, her nose looked like it could use some recontruction.

lol, Kateelle.

A bit OT, but I really feel sorry for the woman I just saw on an episode of MTV's I want a famous face: Jennifer Aniston.

Deviated septum--I've got that. My left nostil is almost always congested, and my nose veers off to the side as Cameron Diaz' does. I don't think it's a bone-crunching/reshaping procedure as is a standard rhinoplasty. The septum (what separates your nostrils) is cartilage, so they've got to straighten that whole band of flesh.

Personally, I'd love to have it done--it'd be nice to breath clearly out my left nostril, and having a straight nose--the same size and shape, just not crooked--would be great.

Actually, in that top pic of Jen you can see her septum is badly deviated.

Jen's spokesman said that she had her proboscis worked on for health reasons, not aesthetics. "Jennifer had a procedure done to correct a deviated septum that was incorrectly done over 12 years ago," he explains to Us. (entertainment.msn.com)

My sister had the same procedure before, which was not a nose job and didn't change the structure of her nose. I guess the media wouldn't like "health," they much prefer "aesthetics."

While I think her first nose job was for cosmetic reasons (her nose was a lot bigger before!), I really believe this one was to fix her deviated septum. I'm suprised she waited so long to fix it though.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, it isn't like she couldn't afford to have it fixed!

In Hollywood, no one seems to believe that someone would do something for any reason other than vanity. So even if she did have a deviated septum, everyone is going to claim that it had something to do with wanting to be hotter than Angelina. God forbid that the girl just wants to be able to breathe!

i didn't know she had a nose job 12 years ago. she should have sued her plastic surgeon, because it didn't help.

I thought the whole "Deviated septum" thing was only on Friends...

If she had a nose job, she would't have walked out of the doctor's office a few hours later with only some bruises to show for it. Wouldn't she have had a splint and a longer post-surgery recovery time?

yeah she wouldnt just walk out but everything is possible these days. as for the deviation, i have that too. had it before my nose job and now.. ^practically everyone i know who had a nose job had it at least done twice... i hope she got it thinned out now ;)

i would hate to not be able to breathe. but if it's for cosmetic reasons, that would be terrible. people should not be allowed to get plastic surgery for 3 years after a bad breakup. just a suggestion.

It's a terrible nose job which makes me actually believe her. What woman on earth would want to increase and widen the bridge of their nose if it wasn't for better breathing? Women commonly decrease it. I don't think she would say "can you give me a bigger nose than the one I already have?"

^If it's so recent, the swelling likely hasn't gone down yet. That takes months.

poor jennifer... she's at least had 2 nose jobs now and the nose still looks terrible.. absolutely horrid to be honest... like a potato :(
i wish i knew her surgeons name just to be sure everyone avoids him.
