Jennifer Connelly named Revlon Brand Ambassador

US cosmetics manufacturer Revlon has signed American actress Jennifer Connelly as a brand ambassador. Connelly, who shot to fame when she won an Academy Award for her role as Russell Crowe’s wife in A Beautiful Mind, joins actress Halle Berry and recently signed supermodel Elle Macpherson in the Revlon stable. “[Connelly] is an accomplished wife, mother and actress and her successes complement the spirit of the Revlon brand,” Revlon president and ceo David Kennedy said in a statement. Connelly will feature in global marketing campaigns and will represent Revlon in fundraising events for charity, the company said.

Interesting how Revlon's 'new wave' of models are older (and accomplished) women. Doesn't stop me yearning for the days of supermodels with big hair, but I look forward to seeing what they'll come up with.

Jennifer Connelly has been announced as the new face of the Revlon makeup brand.

The 37-year-old actress joins the star-studded lineup of Revlon women including Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry, actress Jessica Alba, actress Beau Garrett and newly signed supermodel and entrepreneur Elle Macpherson .
