I just don't get why she had to participate in the sheer trend. It's rarely done well and she doesn't need the cheap headlines that come with it to be relevant or get attention.

Exactly, I always think she looks out of place when she takes big fashion risks - they're meant more for people who use fashion to express themselves rather than people for whom fashion is just an outside interest, and I mean that with the utmost respect for Jen.

Well, I've been mulling it over, looking at pictures, trying to get used to it, but in the end, I think she looked better - and younger - with longer hair, or even the bob cut. This hair reminds me a bit of the mom in "Jon and Kate plus 8" There is something about it that just doesn't work.
