Jennifer Lawrence

She did a lot of the playful shoots in the last couple of years, after a while they were repetitive and boring. Now is all about the sexy shoots, I'm sure we're gonna get bored as well... I'd like to see her in a couture editorial for a change :)

^I don't think it's just now.. I remember her GQ spread from when she's was breaking out with Winter's Bone

To be fair, I've gotten the feeling ever since her Oscar dress that she wants to perceived as 'hot' or 'sexy'.. nothing wrong with that, maybe not everyone's cup of tea but certainly hers

in her case i don't mind that at all as she is immensely talented. she's not the type of girl that has to rely solely on her looks

oh well, I still think that if Michelle Williams or even people like Charlize Theron get criticised for appearing "sexy" after all their success and showing acting skills than i do think it's okay to like or not like the way now after having a BIG mainstream hit Jennifer is "promoting" herself in Hollywood. I believe nothing that is going on with actors nowadays is "coincidents" - it is all planned in an office and many times young actors are sometimes like "muppets" following all the advise from their teams (PR, producers, assistents...) - and being called the new hot "thing" surely does seduce as well, no matter whether you're talented or not...I still for example think she got a nose-job before the Hunger Games and not because it was her life-time desire but due to the "perfect ideal" and small correction-law they have in HW..it will be interesting to see her fashion development

how many GQ shoots did she do? I only remember one but I think it´s quite recent...
link, please? :flower:

I just googled Jennifer and the GQ seems rather less racy than the pics she took for Esquire and some else

(cityrag.com & mysecondwish.blogspot.com)

what's with the Baywatch-swimsuit on the last pic being approx. 3 sizes too small ? :ninja:

^GQ is less racy but imo it´s worse in the sense that looks like underage p*rn-ish pics. Esquire´s are over the top sexy but womanly sexy, am I rambling too much? LOL plus she looks like Gisele Bundchen in some pics, that never hurts :)

So she did one Esquire and one GQ shoot?

You'd be hard pressed to find a young actress who hasn't had plastic surgery and from her Glamour interview I really got the sense that she made the choice to do racy photoshoots and wasn't pushed to. She seems confident enough to pull off the sexy image she is obviously going for and I personally don't think it is contrived by her team as, from what I get from her interviews, she knows what it takes to get ahead herself.

This is Interview Magazine, guys. I'm expecting the editorial to be edgy sexy not bombshell sexy.

Turning up for yet another premiere of her new film, Jennifer Lawrence hit the red carpet for the Spanish debut of “The Hunger Games” held in Madrid on Monday (March 26).

Not sure about the shoes but I really like the dress.

Went to see THG today and she was fantastic, as usual.

I´m not a big fan of the dress but it´s so different from what she´s been wearing so it´s a plus. The booties on the other hand are great imo :)

Saann: I figured you had things mixed up, I´ve forgotten about Esquire anyway so thanks for the reminder.

I like that it is different from what she usually wears. I'm not too sure about whether it works or not but I like her shoes.

I don't like the shoes but the dress fits her better than it does the model

I also wish her hair wasn't so frizzy.. it makes it look dry

I really like that VB dress Jen is wearing! But then again I'm pretty much a sucker for anything with stripes. I like it because it's a lot more casual then the other outfits Jen has worn to other premieres. The look accurately reflects the place she's in, I think Spain's culture is more relaxed then say NYC/LA (when it comes to premieres) or something, thus it's fitting that she dressed to match the setting.
