Dior might not be a great match for her, but it's still a big honor for a young actress to be associated with the most iconic fashion brand in the world. It sends a message to the world that she's the best young actress in the world right now, so of course she deserves nothing less than to be dressed in Dior. Even if Dior dresses her in drab clothing, it's still a lot better to be associated with that brand than to be associated with Prabal Gurung who most people don't even know. I think more than anything it's about business and PR as opposed to actual style.

I think this is a delusion of the fashion industry. Jennifer is doing Dior the bigger favor by being the most coveted actress in the world giving worldwide advertising to their brand. Dior needs the celebrities more than the celebrities need Dior. Jennifer's talent will be the same whether she's in Prabal or Dior. Dior needs to pay celebs to keep their brand in the limelight or they would no longer be iconic.

That mani cam encounter was really cute and funny I really like her acceptance speech, it was very sweet.

Despite the very problematic things she sometimes says (and deserves to be held accountable for), it really is refreshing just how down to earth and humble she is. Also, her genuine excitement at still being a part of these events, winning these awards, is wonderful. (So many actors kill the moment by feeling they have be to dignified.)

I'm looking forward to her Oscar gown. So far my favorite awards gown has been her Critic's Choice (?) Awards one. That black gown with the long train and cut-out neckline.

Aww....Jennifer seemed so sweet and genuine at the SAG's. Her speech seemed to come from the heart, which is always touching. And the interview with her parents was cute too, they must be so proud! I like this Dior look so much better then what she previously wore, it flatters her more and seems to be more her style too. The simple jewelry and hair also looked really great. Jennifer's looks keep getting better and better, so by the Oscar's I expect a knockout of an outfit!
