I think this Dior is the last straw for me, I always click to see HQs of couture gowns on the red carpet and alike but I'm going to start avoiding these pics. She herself is happy and ecstatic and therefore glowing, but this dress completely clashes with her personality and does her amazing figure no favors.
Looking at the runway, the particular essence of this dress is it's sculptural design, but, it literally looks like a wrinkled piece of a sack on her. I mean, in the end, I undrestand Dior still benefits from a business standpoint—she is such a phenomenon that it gets their name out to the masses who are then willing to purchase their makeup and bags, not necessarily their couture. But it's just such an effing shame that Dior has practically all the Oscars' best actresses on lockdown (literally 4 and counting). Lawrence, on the other hand, is super young, so I'm curious to see how her style evolves (hopefully) without Dior in the future. The question, though, is when.
