I like the dress but I too didn't like the idea of her wearing black to a daytime wedding. Some color would have perfect.

exactly, I was actually a bridesmaid in a black tie, evening wedding, and the entire bridal party was in black. It was super elegant.

I quite like her airport outfit; comfy but still put together, how I like to travel.

In the last picture the dress looks navy blue not black (compare it to cash's black pants and you will see the difference). She looks gorgeous & I personally dont see a problem wearing dark colours to weddings so long as its not in conflict with the bridal parties wishes
