Jessica Simpson didn't want to be at Ashlee's Chicago Premiere

You know, that is probably the truth....that unfortunately does not make an interesting story in the eyes of the magazine editors. I mean, report something true and happy...gasp! The horror!

I think the story was a lie as they were on the news that night and Jessica was more then happy to be sitting there being interview looking like a bit of a muppet.

i saw chicago last week and it was great; obviously ashlee does not have the experience nor the great talent, but she still pulled it off nicely.
by the way, from the pic, jessica looks smaller than ashlee, but ashlee is smalle herself (about 5.2 as she was just about my height) so i reckon jess is really tiny..or maube the angle of the photo is not realistic..
