Jeweleye

Oh Darn!! Messed up again. I need to get up earlier. Thanks for letting me know.

Eeeew, this better not be the next eye trend like those contact lenses with the patterns/pictures or those creepy looking blacklight ones that make it look like you're eyes are all white.

Ugh sick. That woman should not be an eye model. That might be the new thing - eye models... their eyes should be less veiny. eghhhh.

Looks like it hurts.

i merged the two topics and moved the original topic at trendspotting, hope you dont mind missy :flower:

as for the trend itself, its new, its not very ugly but i wouldnt use it myself (much more since i'm wearing contacts)

slightly off topic:
i actually saw some fantastic non prescription contact lenses on my optician yesterday, with snake iris, sculls, paterned looks etcetc
i went :woot: wow
wouldnt mind wearing those in a club/party or even full time myself
(if only those weird designer lenses could fit in prescription puprose  )

 I think it is shameful that doctors do this sort of thing. It's just a way to make money and think of the risk to one's eyes!!! What are these people thinking???

that's bad :o i wouldn't want that 'jewel' anywhere near my eyes?! it looks disgusting. :yuk:

i saw this article too while i was signing onto my hotmail email address....

its sad how ppl do so many things to themselves..

Ok, I can understand why some people would undergo procedures like liposuction or rhinoplasty or even something like breast augmentation. I mean, those all serve a purpose beyond vainity. Besides the looking better aspect, people do it to feel better about themselves, but what the hell is the purpose of this?!

All I know is, I would rather have my nose chisled at then let something be implanted in my eye.

when i read the topic title...i got an image of a jewel implanted in somebody's eye...and i kind of cringed at the image, thinking that it isn't what "jeweleye" actually is. but i guess i'm wrong.

in a way, it looks cool. in another, it looks painful. and it sounds too expensive. i'm so paranoid about my eyes. it looks like it would hurt to even blink. ahhhh okay i need to stop thinking about it.

Interesting thing...but key words

SO FAR..they don't have complications... they did say there were just like 8 people who've done it...what about long term effects? ...after a few years would it still not move?

If its jewel stone or metal...it could tear the membrane and get loose and get into the upper part of your lids and that'll make you blind...

Not worth risking and not worth the 1000 which I could use to buy myself a new Louis Vuitton, some Jimmy Choos or a new jewel of somesort at Cartier. :flower: ...Haute couture before crazy implant surgery

Man...what will people think of next....

Talk about "the apple of(in) your eye..." :innocent:

Kinda cute, but not for me! Do they really like stick a needle in your eye or is it just like sticky almost like eye glue lol? There is just some Odd- crazy stuff people do! I wonder whats next?!
