even though it is very commercial, wearable and somehow basic
i like the new close to the body silhouette from Jil Sander's Uomo 04-05.

i would expect more from her, but its hard times in designer land and companies seem to need clothes that sell :P

i really think sheepskin does not belong in this collection though...

love the grey trenchcoat and the look with the suede jacket

last plate of photos, this brown knit is nice but please not worn inside the trousers

i like the preppy mood of the suits :flower:

I haven't seen the whole collection so I can't fully judge it yet but, from the photos posted, this is what I expected from Jil. It seems typical of hers to take classic menswear pieces and incorporate them into her collection. What will decide if it makes the cut is if she interprets it with wit or/and has a direction or directional theme.

Thanks, Lena! :flower:

i like that it's simple... and i really want the shoes in the first pic of the guy (i think it's russel) in the bottom right

where can i find these uomo collections? style.com don't got em...

try Modaonline.it for just a few more on menswear collections,
dont expect much more than what we have here though :flower:

I liekt he sillouhet and teh basic pieces, but the coloures and thick materials put me off.
