THE OWNERS of Jimmy Choo are considering selling the label for a price tag of up to £500 million after reportedly seeking "strategic options" from investment banks.
According to the Sunday Telegraph, the company's shareholders may appoint an advisor to help work on a strategic review by the end of the summer. The business has been valued at between £450 and £500 million.
Sources said Jimmy Choo owners may want to hold back on selling with a view to sell for £1 billion in the years ahead.
Tamara Mellon, who founded the business in 2006, owns a fifth of the firm.
