she seems to prefer a chunkier, boyish shoe as opposed to a stiletto or something sleeker...
it could also be that it's winter and/or during fashion week (where alot of the pics here are from), editors are walking alot from show to show...she may want something a bit more "sensible"...
i think her shoe choices help make her style what it is...

Day 9: "Today I'm wearing a Burberry coat, Derek Lam oversized blazer, Proenza long-sleeve tee and DVF mini skirt — wow, I didn’t realize how short this skirt looks! Thank goodness I paired it with a longer blazer and even longer coat!
